Biogenic Synthesis of Copper Oxide Nanoparticles Using Pimpinella anisum Seed Extract Characterization and Antibacterial activity

Recent attention has been drawn to green methods for preparing metal oxide nanoparticles due their ease of preparation and environmental friendliness in comparison with chemical physical methods. By using an eco-friendly reducing agent, Pimpinella anisum seed extract, this study describes a method synthesizing CuO that are based on biological principles. Copper were produced utilizing precipitation technique involving (CuCl2.2H2O), (NaOH).To determine the morphology CuONPs elemental composition, shape, size, type bonds present sample, UV–Vis spectrophotometry, XRD, SEM , EDS analysis have all performed. Spectra UV-visible spectrum showed absorption peak between 250 – 300 nm, which confirms formation nanoparticles. FT-IR spectral bands related vibration at 529 cm-1 are, suggesting production Analysis by X-ray diffraction revealed monoclinic phase had mean size 22 nm. Based analysis, obtained aspherical shape.
